South Auckland Writers meetings (Usually held on the second Friday of each month)

The next two meetings are:
Friday 12 September and also Friday 10 October, 2014
Same time and place for both meetings: 1-3pm
The Sir Edmund Hillary Library
Level 3, Accent Point Building, 28 East St, Papakura

Activity/preparation for the September meeting:
Write 800 words, incorporating the words ‘Air New Zealand’ and ‘Asia’ and ‘Serendipity’. Bring your 800-word piece to the meeting for feedback. After the meeting you are welcome to enter your own piece into a competition run by the Asia New Zealand Foundation and Air New Zealand.  Click here to find out more about the competition and to check the criteria for entry.

Writing exercise: There might also be time for an additional writing exercise on the day so please bring a pad and paper just in case.

The library generously provides the room, tea and coffee for all of our meetings. Free parking is available in the Accent Point Building (entry from East St. When parked, take the lift to level 3). A pedestrian-only entry is from Gt South Road, Papakura.
